I have a 2000 Mazda Protege LX with 109,000 miles on it. I bought this car new. About 3 - 4 years ago, I noticed the passenger side floor was getting wet. I took it in to have the a/c drain unclogged. It was unclogged, so I though the problem was solved. Well, this continues to happen, the a/c drain tube is clean and it does drain. This only happens in the Summer when I have the a/c on. My mechanics have no idea what is causing the floor to get soaked, I mean soaked. You can see the water puddling on the carpet. Does anyone have any ideas. It is not rain coming in, and it is not a leak in the a/c drain hose either.
Please Help!!!

By removing the glove box, you or your “mechanics” should be able to SEE where the water is coming from. Perhaps the heater A/C box, a plastic enclosure, is cracked and leaking the A/C condensate…
