I am trying to find other posts here about this, but when search and then click on a post, it brings me to the main page again - frustrating. ANYWAY, same old story - window left down, seats soaked, car smells. Suggestions?
The seats will dry if you leave the windows open whenever possible. Using the AC while driving will help, too.
The padding under the carpet, however, is another matter. If it’s wet, which I suspect it is, it has to be removed from the vehicle in order to dry properly.
There isn’t a shop vac or detail shop that can remove the water without removing the padding, and if you don’t get the water out of the padding the moldy, mildew smell will persist virtually forever.
