Ditto here. I have a 2009 Honda Civic, and I realized that the gas tank doesn’t have the little spring loaded flap like so many other vehicles. Inspecting the tank (after a 2 mile drive home in which I didn’t stop to think) showed fine droplets like only the jet of a car wash could make. My father (and roommate) recommended HEET (methanol?), so I dumped in the third of a bottle my roommate had. Dad suggested adding another whole bottle when my tank gets to 3/4, and then a whole bottle with each fill-up for two more fill-ups. Thoughts?
