I have a 2007 that stutters when you don,t expect for 2 seconds. It is a 2.0 Turbo. It happens when driving for a while as you let off the gas then resume driving. I,ve been told this is normal for the turbo. It is very dangerous. What do you think?
Can you define stuttering more clearly. For example it hesitates and has a jerky movement for 2 seconds…
I had an 04 Passat with a definite lag between stepping on the accelerator and the turbo kicking in, which took some getting used to, but was indeed normal. Is this what you’re talking about? Or is it really more like a “stutter” as you put it…like a subtle misfiring?
