My VW Passat station wagon with 4motion has decided to stop running since july. I have had it in and out of the shop since then but it would die while driving, and now it just won’t start. We have replaced the alternator battery ABS module, as well as all the connections have been checked. My mechanic is done, and after spending a fortune I cant afford any more work.Has anyone seen this problem. I am desperate.

Sorry i also need to add- when the car would die(while driving) the console would flash “STop”“check owners manual” “abs” and three very loud beeps.

So what did the Owner's Manual say?Have you replaced the ignition coils?
