My wife’s 2000 VW Passat 4Motion station wagon periodically refuses to start no matter how long one cranks it. After a short interval,as little as five minutes, it starts right up. In an earlier posting someone with the same symptoms suggested a fuel pump/pressure problem but didn’t confirm the diagnosis. Any bulletins on this? What diagnostics can be run?
