My fiance got this car last March and it has been wonderful. However, in the past few weeks her fuel economy (according to the in dash display) has really gone down. Is there any type of diesel fuel additive that would improve mileage? Thanks!
Cold weather, short tips winter fuel all go together to make for reduced mileage. It should come back in the spring. Adding something to the fuel will not help.
I will also suggest, don’t put too much faith in that on board instant mileage indicator. It is a nice toy and it does not do bad if you keep it adjusted for things like weather (make sure you keep telling it how much fuel you are using) it will not do too bad.
