I bought my 2006 Golf new. At abt a year and a half it started jerking on the upshift from 2nd to 3rd gear. Since then it has been in the shop 7 times, had 2 new transmissions, and a VW of America Rep is coming to the dealership for the 2nd time to problem solve with the dealership. I called VW of America and asked that they buy the car back (it doesn’t qualify under the lemon law because the car was at 35,000 miles when I first brought it in for this issue). They said they would not buy it back. I don’t even want to look at another VW again. What can I do with this car? I’m tired of taking it to the dealership.
