Recently the inside rear overhead light in my 1998 Volvo V70 went out. Fuses are okay and the light bulb has been changed but still no light. Could this be a bad switch?
It could be. I would use a ohm function of a multimeter to check the ground to the receptacle. If the ground is OK then use the DC Volts function to see if you are getting 12VDC to the receptacle. If not…you can then check the light switch.
