Sometimes, when I take off from a red light or stop sign, my car makes a thump. This feels as if it is under the car, not a transmission shift noise. It would seem to me that it has to do with exhaust or fuel??? I am guessing. Any suggestions?

Check the exhaust hangers, sometimes they’ll rust and break and the add’l movement of the exhaust pipes can cause this problem.
