driver side headlight doesn’t work on my 2000 volvo s40. mechanic says its not getting power and the computer chip needs to be replaced. any ideas on how to fix it without replacing computer chip for $1000
All the switching to the headlights is controlled thru the central control module. If there’s no power to the left headlight then the CCM probably requires replacement. Have you looked online for a used CCM from a wrecked Volvo?
