They key is stuck in my Volvo S40. Car will turn on and off but key will not release. I do have a warranty will it be covered
If you have the extended warranty and the years and mileage fit it should be covered. Note the most common cause for ignition failure is key rings that are overweight!

What model year? The 2004 1/2 model year and up was a completely different animal from the preceding years.
The model year is 2005 its a s40 AWD.
