I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant that, for the past 2 months, has vibrated (sometimes severely) when I turn or accelerate. Initially, it only occurred during left turns at speeds above 20mph; since then, it’s become common whether turning or accelerating at almost any speed/rpm.
I’ve taken it to multiple mechanics, all of whom suggested replacing the left axle and cv joints. I did so, yet the issue was still there. The mechanic I used suggested it may have been a bad part and replaced it yet again, but the issue remained.
Any other thoughts on what this might be?
tire ballance comes to mind. Also steering linkages loose or bad wheel alignment could be culprits here.
