I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country, and the switch on the vent is not working properly. It will turn on at the highest speed only. Any ideas as to what would cause this? I have checked the fuses, but I cannot find an issue.
This normally means that your blower motor resistor pack has burned out. Its between the switch and the fan and gives all of the lower speeds. They do burn out fairly regularly, though sometimes because the blower motor is going & drawing too many amps. So you might have the blower fan operation checked.
Its possible that the switch itself is bad, but you can check that easily enough by checking for voltage at the resistor connector.
