Unidentified Life Form Growing on Engine Block

I have been driving this car only once a week. Each time getting up to operating temperature. Not driving it much more than anymore than to acomplish that. I poped the hood, and there’s some unidentified life form growing on the engine block that I haven’t noticed before. Looks like some kind of fungus/mold or plant based life form. Any idea what it is, and how I should get rid of it so it doesn’t grow back?

I realize there’s some seepage, but I don’t know what the white fungus looking thingy is. Should I be concerend?

Rub it off with a wire brush. It isn’t alive, it is aluminum salts. It is nothing to worry about.
