I’ve been all over the internet & can’t seem to find the answer to a question . 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7 V6 engine . It seems the head bolts & connecting rod bolts are TTY . Any other bolts in this engine TTY ?
Like which bolts?
The answer can be found in your torque specifications. Any bolt requiring torque of “X plus 45%” or whatever is a torque to yield bolt.
Thanks , got it . Learn something new every day . I’ve seen the bolt torque specs. that say x lbs + x degrees . Didn’t know those type specs. pertained to TTY bolts . Bedplate / main bearing bolts was the ones I was most concerned about . Thanks again .
