On the show for the week of 7/11/2009 Click & Clack told two jokes in a row. One had the punch line “there’s no plate like chrome for the hollindaise” but I can’t remember the other one. Can you remember?
Was it the joke with the punch line, “That’s a Hickory Daiquiri, Doc”?
Thank you SO MUCH!
I remember that particular joke because I have been telling it for…maybe the last 45 years.
I’ve got a million of 'em!
It’s a good one. I was at an impromptu visit with friends last evening and I said I had heard two funny (G-rated jokes) and the one you helped me with had slipped out of my mind. I had already listened to and deleted that “Car Talk” episode from my MP3 player. If I had only remembered “hickory”…I used to live on Hickory Lane!
Senior moment I guess. Thanks again for your help.
Best regards

And don’t forget the even worse “The koala tea of Mercy is not strained”.
Yes, thank you too!
Here’s one…What’s proper English?..Egg yolks is white or egg yolks are white?
(answer…Neither!..egg yolks are YELLOW!
