I have a 1996 F150 gas 6 cyl man 5speed with a rough idle and stalling at all speeds. Have been to 3 auto zones to borrow the code reader, none have worked, is there a special reader for that year Ford?
The code reader only works if a code has been registered. You’ll know this because the check-engine light will be lit telling you that there’s a problem and to read the code.
try having your fuel filter changed that’s located in the main frame.
