I have a new-to-me 2004 Volvo C70 (convertible). I love it to death. It’s battery is dead or too dead to work on cold mornings. Since I live in New Orleans, there aren’t many cold mornings to worry about. It surprises me that a car from Sweden can’t handle a little Louisiana chill. I’ve had the battery and other stuff checked and there doesn’t seem to be a problem. I moved to a house with a long, skinny driveway and the idea of having to call someone next winter sorta scares me. I’d love to hear from someone with any experience in this situation.
Today is the cold start problem day ;-)). first, do you mean it wont crank on cold days, or do you mean it cranks but wont fire up?
Second, if the battery is “too dead to work”, or “Iv had the battery checked…and there doesn’t seem to be a problem.” Sorry, but I dont think you can have it both ways.
