Anyone know what I should check (if anything)?
Its not yet 3yrs old (albeit with 110k miles)
It sputters every other day - when idling - starting almost a month ago (its died twice)
Nothing else is wrong.
No lights are on - regular oil/filter changes - just inspected.
Plugs should be changed @ 100,000 miles. Only get the Denso part number in the manual, not an equivalent Very easy to change Also change the air filter
Time to clean the throttle body?
I agree with both above, have you changed the spark plugs with the correct ones and NOT from Amazon or eBay (both have lots of fakes), buy from a local parts store or the dealer only (for Toyota/Lexus anyway)…
Has the throttle body been properly cleaned??
I would even go as far as to look at the TPS (throttle position sensor) % at idle in live data to see what it is reading…
