My 08 Acura trans. shifts ok from 1st to 2nd, but feel like it slips from 2nd to 3rd.My dealer tells me the slip is the torqe converter locking up.Can this be adjusted via reprogaming the computer, or a new chip?
If the dealer say’s it’s normal, ask him to show you another 08 Acura that does it.
I would guess it is under warranty so the fix should be free. Contact the district office for Acura and keep taking it back to the dealer. Get everything in writing and check out your rights under the lemon law of your state:
