In a show a just listened to, after having his transmission repaired, a gentleman lost his fan and Tom and Ray gave the repair shop a by as they couldn’t have caused the problem; I completely disagree. Ever lowered the back of a transmission? What happens at the front of the engine? It tilts up and you can easily damage the fan as it pivots into the shroud that encloses it. He should have taken it back to the transmission shop: I think they caused the fan to fail.
It is probably a bit late for that caller to take his car back to the trans shop, as the radio programs are composed of old/archived phone calls that were recorded anywhere from 1 1/2-16 years ago. With the exception of a few current announcements that are spliced into the mix, everything on T & R’s radio program is…old.
