Transmission on occasion will have a metalic clicking come from transmission,
any suggestions, I do not want to replace, car is not woth 6,000 to replace transmission
I doubt it is coming from the transmission but there is no way to say because you have given almost no description of the issue.
You need to just take it to a good local shop for inspection. You’ll probably end up with a new CV axle or something of that nature.
I second cigroller. Does this clicking occur when turning and accelerating? To verify if you have a bad outer CV joint, turn the wheel all the way and accelerate from a stop. Try it with the wheel the other direction since it may depend on which way the joint is situated for the click to occur.
