Thank you for your quick response. I recently had the electrial switch replaced, this was not the problem. The mechanic mentioned replacing the valve body could be another possible solution. My other question is, would I be wasting my money if I had this done?
Possibly; any comment like “could be” is a technological guess at your expense.
I would take the car to a good independent transmssion shop (not a chain) and have a proper diagnosis done first. Then you can decide whether it is worth fixing properly.
