Traction active

Had the same problem for my Chevy avalanche took it to GM dealership and they replaced the steeeing wheel position sensor. Repair was about 800$.

Iā€™ve repaired a couple of these by replacing the throttle body. The throttle position sensor can cause an issue with regard to the accelerator position sensor. When they arenā€™t seeing the same information, it believes there is a slip condition. At least in my experience with this issue, the replacement part solved the issue. Of course, the appropriate resets and relearns were performed before throwing parts at it.
