2005 tundra sporadically misfires/sputters after slowing/downshifting (autotrans) to 2nd gear…then when accelerator is kicked a bit the engine wants to spit/sputter like a misfire or flooding…anyone experiencing this…V8 engine by the way.
Do you have any codes. How about the wires, plugs and coils? Have they been changed?
Sounds like a vacuum problem to me. Maybe a leak somewhere or a bad sensor. Don’t know if these engines have a vacuum sensor, but they are instrumented up like a space launch so they probably do.
