Toyota FJ Leaning Left

Hi,

I hope someone can help. My 2007 FJ Cruiser is leaning to the left. No, it hasn’t joined a new party or abandoned the GOP, it is leaning to the left drivers side when sitting parked. Probably by 3/4" to 1".

Is there a fix for this? I have been told they all do this, I can’t believe that to be true.

Please Help.

If “they all do it” then there is a major problem with Toyota’s design.
If I were you, I would check for a broken spring or a damaged strut on the “low” side of the vehicle.

If the vehicle is still under its 3 yr./36k warranty, I would suggest that you take it to the dealer, but if not, then a good mechanic should be able to figure out the source of the problem fairly easily.

They DON’T “all do it”. (I’ve had mine for 3-1/2 years and 80K happy miles.)
Mine did droop in the nose when I added an ARB bull bar & winch (fixed that right up with the lift kit with heavy duty springs) – but NEVER leaning to one side.

You got anything really heavy on the left side?

Short of that, have the suspension checked – something’s wrong.
