I have always heard that getting a sunroof fixed on a car is crazy expensive. In my case, the motor makes noise when the button is pushed, but the glass doesn’t open. I bought the car a year ago and the sunroof never worked. Is this kind of repair typically expensive? Thanks!

Yes! It’s expensive to fix. The reason is, you don’t replace sunroof components. Instead, you replace the sunroof cartridge. And that means replacing the entire sunroof assembly.
