How much has anyone else had warped or bent rims, causing air leaks, flat tires, and having to replace tires because of this?
In over 1 million miles of driving I’ve only bent ONE rim. You hit a curb??? or drive over extremely rough terrain?? Drive the vehicle past safety limits???
I guess that air leaked out and you ran on near flat tires…thus ruining them???
They must have pretty substantial leaks or you weren’t checking your tire pressure periodically.
Yes but you have to really let the air pressure go down (noticably) to ruin a tire.
It happens. Usually do to some sort of impact or low air pressure. It happens more these days because those alloy wheels are weaker than steel wheels.
