The March 15, 2025 puzzler is titled “The Shuttering Porsche” The correct word is ‘shuddering’. ‘Shuttering’ is what is done to protect windows from the weather, back in the day when windows had shutters. I searched the CT forum and found a lot of posts using the wrong word for tremble convulsively, so it must be a common error since the words sound alike.
The last time that we had a post about a car “shuttering”, I asked the OP if he had checked the car’s siding.
