Temp sensor

Do u think that the temp sensor will read the car hot when its not! Can this be a possible that this will keep doin this to the car or make it hot

Yes, a faulty temp sensor can give a false reading on the gauge. Don’t guess, measure the ACTUAL coolant temperature.

A faulty temp sensor will not make the engine run hot. A faulty thermostat, on the other hand, can, for sure, make the engine run hot.

I’d suspect a faulty thermostat before a faulty temp sensor.

I have new thermostat already change out my fan radiator to water pump car was running fine for 3wks till jus out the blue last night the gage was reading hot but I didn see any steam comin out or boiling. Jus heard a noise coming from the fan pump werd never has happen what u think
