In a 2002 Subaru Legacy Automatic, was driving when the car lost torque - press the accelerator and little response. Pulled over and discovered that one of the transmission hoses to the cooling system had disconnected and the transmission fluid was all over the road. Reconnected the hose and refilled the transmission but the car would not move forward or back when put in any gear forward or back. Any hints as to what this suggests has happened to the transmission? It does not make any of the sounds as if it is going into gear when you shift from park to any other gear. We were not driving more then 5 minutes with the fluid pouring out. Thanks, Michael
