After starting car there is a fuel or exhaust {strong} smell. especially on hot days. I have been to the dealer three times to fix this problem. Smell is still very strong.
Take it to another Subaru dealer. Or locate the contact info for Subaru corporate in your owners manual and contact them.
This is a life/death issue. You shouldn’t have an exhaust smell in any car, let alone a 2018 model.

Repeatedly I had the same problem with my 2017 Sub Forester. I mentioned problem to the dealer. Told they could not duplicate. Makes sense. The car was not in a cold start situation. Coincidentally the problem magically disappeared.
