I HAVE A 2002 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER. IT IS AUTO TRANSMISSION. LATELY, IT SEEMS THAT MOVING FROM PARK INTO ONE OF THE GEARS IS BECOMING HARDER TO DO; IT’S RATHER STIFF. ANY IDEAS? IS IT SERIOUS? THANKS.
Somebody’s going to have to get up under the vehicle and give the shift linkages a good look. It might be something real simple. Take a look.

I wanted to thank you for posting a reply. I need an oil change pretty soon; I’ll have it looked at while I’m getting that done. (I’ll even sound like I know what I’m talking about when I ask them to check the shift linkages!) I see so many of these questions w/o a reply, so I was quite pleased to see someone had taken the time to respond to mine. Thanks again!
