I bought my 16 year old son a '95 Isuzu Rodeo (V-6, 4 WD). A true beater. When accelerating, the throttle often sticks wide open. This can occur even when partially accelerating. I suspect worn engine mounts - anyone had any experience with this on this vehicle?
I would check for a dirty throttle plate. Try cleaning the pivot points with gumout or similar cleaner. Also exercise the throttle cable and see if it is sticking.
