at very low speeds when turning, i can feel and hear popping in my steering wheel. what is causing this. i drive a 02 chevy silverado.
It’s possible the clockspring under the air bag is the culprit.
There is a problem with the intermediate shaft that can cause this noise. This link has a good write up on it.
