2007 Nissan Maxima. All fine. Got to stop sign to turn Right…started turn ok then suddenly steering wheel became stiff car wouldnt turn then just as fast went back to “normal” .steering wheel loosened up & able turn. I immediately turned around parked car. During this very small trip I heard what sounding like a belt screeching twice.
Power Steering Fluid is full. Belt bad? Steering pump?
I’d try changing the belt before the power steering pump.
