1996 Cad. car has factory theft sys. stopped working, so we installed a 'Hornet-740T. Now at times the car won’t start. the message on the dash board says “starting disabled due to theft sys.”
Is this from the original system or the Hornet causing this. We wait about an hour and then the car will start.???

What were the symptons that the factory system stopped working?
What was done to the factory system to keep it from interfering with the aftermerket system?
Does the Hornet system have the capability to display messages on the dash board?
Was the Hornet system pro installed or was it a Do It Yourself task?
