Yesterday I turned the ignition again after the car started and heard that loud grinding sound you get when you shouldn’t have turned the ignition yet.
This morning the car started up, but I can hear the starter revving up and down much more than normal. What’s going on?
I don’t understand how you hear the starter “revving” up. Is the starter making an unusual noise? Or is the engine revving up after it has started?
Instead of the normal sound of the starter starting, there is also a whiny noise at the same time. The whiny noise winds down about 3 seconds after the motor starts.
