My 2008 PT Cruiser will stall unexpectedly while driving. This is obviously an unnerving experience for the driver. My mechanic thinks it is some kind of short somewhere in the electrical system, but the labor involved in finding it would cost more than the car is worth. My questions are: Do other PT Cruisers show a fault like this, and how can I dispose of the car when I’m ready to, a be certain that it will be junked so it doesn’t endanger another driver?
No offence Kathleen , but I just don’t understand why people think a vehicle problem will be the same on all other vehicles of the same type.
This might be solved by a shop that can do auto electrical work. If you take it to a salvage yard they will junk it and it will not be back on the road.
