So you disconnected the battery to clear the codes before hooking up the scanner??
The scanner wasn’t delivered until after I had done the disconnecting. It showed no stored codes when I hooked it up.
This is normal behavior in our universe- spend money to address something and it goes away
- Buy a new snowblower before winter almost guarantees no need for it
- That missing 10mm socket shows up the day you bring home a replacement
- Buy an expensive diagnostic tool and the problem magically disappears…
Or perhaps toothpaste back in the tube.
I was curious to hear how the D7 performed. I bought a handheld Autel when I needed bi-directional capability, primarily cost vs function. But I find it somewhat cumbersome to use and looking for a more tablet based unit with better interface & capability. I trust Dave’s recommendations…
