How many miles does it have on it?
When was the last time you did a tuneup including sparkplugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor (if you have them), and a full range of filters?
look at every thing. for tune up and change all the filter don,t forget the gas filter. youcould have a bad spark coil. if the timing belt is orginal it could sliped a tooth. any way it needs replaced if it is old.
