My speedometer does not work. Also, my 4wd high light is on but not engaged. Are the two related? I’ve looked up speed sensor and it’s separate from the actuator for 4wd. Maybe coincidence they stopped working simultaneously? Should I start with the $30 speed sensor?

The vehicle is OBDI. So the VSS could be the problem without setting a code.
