when i get on the gas to go i have this snap noise it sounds like a stick braking in half i had the u-joints changed at the dealer but the sound is still there could it be inside the transmission? 47k on the trailblazer 06
The problem might be with the slip yoke where the driveshaft connects to the transmission. There have been complaints of a popping/snapping noise on these vehicles when accelerating from a stop. The fix is, remove the driveshaft from the transmission, and lube up slip yoke splines with moly grease.
