The more they hear that message, the more likely manufactures will make available models with what features you want, and not what you don’t.

A dealer that sells regularly to fleets would have a few basic trucks on the lot but from my checking so far the dealers around here only keep a handful of basic spec trucks. But as far as I know you can still special order a truck and get just the options you want (If any)

I always empty my own pockets before throwing my laundry in the hamper. My wife has laundered at least two of HER flip phones and one of HER I-pods.
It’s not me that’s the problem.

What makes you assume I don’t do my own laundry and don’t empty my pockets. It’s not MY keys that get laundered.
