Should Congress add funding to Cash for Clunkers?

I didn’t flag your post as offensive, but consider that flagging it only once does nothing. It takes a second person flagging for it to be moved to the moderation queue. Once it is there, someone from Car Talk makes a decision about whether or not it is offensive. If it isn’t offensive or inflammatory, they put it back on display. So when you scold “the miserable soul that censored it,” consider that there are actually three “miserable souls” who all agreed that it deserved to be removed, one of which works at Car Talk Plaza.

Remember, when you point your finger, you have three fingers pointing back at you. You can either learn from this experience, or you can continue to push the envelope.

Here’s another idea. you trade in a car, no matter what it is, it gets donated to some sort of program to help the less fortunate. and in return, you get a crazy tax deduction, of about $8000. you could then use that money to buy anything from a new car, used car, or a plasma TV. whatever. its your money.
