Short tire pressure

My driver side front tire losses pressure but, stops at 20 psi? Has anyone encountered this phenomonon?

no

Yes. The explanation is simple. At 20 psi the pressure is no longer strong enough to force air out of the tire through the leakage point. The leak may be due to any number of things including nails, screws, pinholes in alloy wheels or a bad tire/rim seal. A good tire shop can take the wheel off and submerge it in a water tank to find the exact leak(s).

I once had one that always stopped and 25. The screw was actually still in it - mostly plugging the hole and apparently able to hold all the pressure up to about 25 psi.

Thanks for the help!
