My 2008 Pontiac G5 steering wheel shimmys when I put on the brakes. It only has 16,000 miles on it. I have had the tires rotated. It doesn’t do it all the time.
Your front brake rotors are probably warped. Shouldn’t happen in only 16,000 miles. Maybe somebody really over-tightened the front wheel bolts.
