doe the 7.3 Ford diesel (pre powerstroke) have an automatic shutdown/shutoff feature if the engine begins to overheat?
Or
would a ruptured water hose (lotsa steam) short out the engine so it shuts down, just clicks when you try to restart, then starts fine after a few minutes?
Or
did the engine “seize” but now runs fine?
