Sebring - shudder when decelerates

I have a chrysler sebring 2002. It has about 37K miles on it. When it decelerates, at 30 MPH, always, it gives a shudder and then decelerates further. Nothing like that happens when it accelerates. What could be the issue here and how can I get it fixed? No cost option would be ideal… or some money, if it has to be taken from me…

Have you checked your transmission fluid level? Is this a used vehicle? Sometimes the wrong fluid will cause a shudder as well as the torque converter malfunctioning. I think you need to see a transmission specialist to find the problem. Please don’t use any “shudder fix” additives as they can make the problem worse instead of better.

It is a used vehicle. Could be the issue with wrong transmission fluid, but, it does not give any other issues other than this one shudder… Thanks for your advice…
